Jewelry at the Castle

Aperitif, Vernissage, and Fair Trade Stories

Handmade jewelry has many facets and special value. The South Tyrolean World Shops present jewelry from all over the world in four South Tyrolean castles. The necklaces, rings, and bracelets were fair trade and sustainably produced. There are ceramic bracelets from Kenya, whose look suits many outfits. There are earrings and necklaces from the Philippines. There is jewelry made from ostrich eggs from South Africa. There are shell bangles with delicately shimmering reflections from the Philippines. There are necklaces made from tagua nuts from Ecuador.
Brigitte Knapp accompanies the exhibitions with a reading about two different women connected by a piece of jewelry. Appropriate music and a fair trade aperitif frame the vernissage and reading.
All exhibited jewelry is available in the South Tyrolean World Shops.
